Welcome to the Horokiwi community website; A device for sharing information, pictures, articles or links to other resources.
There are several parts to the site - the Library and Picture Gallery where documents and pictures may be found, a Forum and Discussion Area where general discussions can take place, and a Notice Board where notices of any kind may be posted.
There are 2 security levels used - all info on the site is either 'Public' or 'Community'. Public content can be seen by anybody in the world, but Community items can only be seen by registered, logged in users, with registration only available to residents and people with a close association with the community.
Why Register? There is information across all areas of the site that is available to registered users only. Whilst not particularly secret, people submitting content may not be comfortable if their info were available to the whole world. By restricting access to members of the community, we can communicate more freely in the knowlege that it's a conversation amongst ourselves.
