Submissions on the proposed Natural Resources Plan close on 25 Sept 2015

The proposed Natural Resources Plan for the Wellington Region was publically notified on 31 July 2015. As noted in our July newsletter, and the mailer that was sent out to all Greater Wellington residents prior to the release of the proposed Plan these documents can be viewed on our website www.gw.govt.nz/regional-plan-review.

The submission period closes on 25 September 2015. More information about the submission process and the submission forms can also be found on our website.

Over the last five years the Greater Wellington Regional Council has been working to review the existing plans for the Wellington Region. We have learned much about how human activity affects our region’s natural and physical resources and we have worked closely with communities, organisations and individuals to develop rules that protect the right things in the right places.
